It all started as a game, in a very natural way, from when I was a teenager and prepared those poorly prepared cakes and pretended to be a star pastry chef, even as a professional with an engineering career on top and working as such, one day we decided to celebrate the birthday from a friend, we were at almost 4000 meters above sea level and we had to get down to work and not exactly as engineers but as pastry chefs that time, it was a quite pleasant experience in a kitchen that was not ours ... That was the beginning of a curiosity that years later would be reflected in a country that was not mine ...

Some time later, thanks to the job I had at that time, I met a wonderful person, that person that you think appears in your life for some reason, but that you do not find out until later that he is the love of your life, all of a sudden, without anesthesia like someone who doesn't want something to happen ... I fell in love! of a person who was on the other side of the pond to be exact 10056km away from my country, and that was the beginning of a new adventure that would bring not only the arrival of Cattleya our daughter, but would also bring the birth of our enterprise "Love in a Box".

After having established myself in the city of Bruges with some studies at the faculty of bioscience at the university of ghent, in July 2016

We welcomed Cattleya our daughter, with her arrival there were also many questions, ... among those many because I remembered all those failed attempts at cakes that I had tried years ago and I gave her a thousand and one turns until suddenly a call from destiny was He made a present through a friend of my husband that he would celebrate his birthday and do a concert, seeing me tempted that time to prepare something ...

Our first cakes were new challenges and they were more and more complex, however we never let ourselves be intimidated, it has not been easy and we never thought it was impossible and that is what keeps us today working with the same enthusiasm and the same love for each cake because behind Each cake not only has empty working hours but also comes with a lot of love and a love story that made me cross the pond to study a completely different master than what I do now.
